Just for the record here in case anyone else searches this. I bought a 2012 with 93k miles on the clock and couldn't find any record of a cambelt change. It had a good history (main dealer) so I rang them and they gave me the details of the services including that the aux belt had been changed in 2019. For peace of mind I got my local to do a cambelt change (just under £400) expecting as a number of posts here have said that the belt would look like new. It didn't. Tiny cracks across the belt and showing signs of wear. Just goes to show you. |

£400 is ok, as long as it includes an OE water pump, and belt kit. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
