I got to 45k miles before brake replacement, even though I dont pay I asked some serious questions, that is way out line with my expectations. Was told that they didn't have to be replace at 45k but would not last until 60k therefore they wanted to replace them; Fleet office gave the OK.

As far as im aware on this subject,if you have your car seviced at a vat registered sevice centre/local garage and that GENUINE LANDROVER PARTS are fitted and fluids to landrovers spec are used then your waranty will still be valid.Make sure you get the book stamped though this is very important along with keeping all receipts.

Just been quoted £250 inc VAT for first service at local independant using genuine LR parts and stamped service book, £110 cheaper than the best stealer quote I could find.

Best quote I could find for my first service was £294 from Marshall's in Lincoln, including the 10% discount I get from having a loyalty card from Marshall's having bought the car from them. I called up Marshall's Bedford and asked them and they said they'd match it. Car's now booked in with the Beds dealer as they're the place I bought the car from and have always been very impressed with their customer service, unlike some other dealers I've been to. 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue.. |

Didn't think to call Marshalls at Bedford, although its about 40 mins drive away the other side of the county for me so probably further than I want to go. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

I was quoted 'around £350' for my first service with LR although when it was done and I went to pay they only charged me £250. of course I felt a deep sense of guilt and asked if I could pay the £350..................................well okay I snatched the receipt off them, legged it out the door and sped off the forecourt before they could say anything! |

A 'friends' credit card payment doesnt register on his statement when he pays for fuel in the local petrol station kiosk , but If 'he' uses pay at the pump it does, What would you advise him to do? At work
