United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black
New member

Hi

Just joined as I have recently purchased Freelander 2 HSE TD due to the fine offers available. Me and the wife love it. We now have BMW cabriolet 3 series and a classic mini. A nice mix.

The Freelander is superb and the half day off roading was great for understanding the capability. Its my first LR and so far impressed with everything.

Only issue is cleaning the roof!!! I'm only 5' 7 1/4" tall.

Very Happy Richard Jones

I use a step ladder, I have to clean the roof frequently as I see it from the window while half way down the stairs at home. otherwise I wouldn't care so much Confused At work

Tell the wife I'm 3/4" longer, I mean taller, whatever. Anyway, CG offers good advise, a step ladder makes the job easy Thumbs Up ______________________

I use one of those extending caravan bushes. It works a treat. There should be plenty at the C C.National Rally next weekend.

Hi to all,ive just traded in my bmw for a freelander 2 se which i pick up next monday, after reading posts on here i am a little concerned about some of the problems with pumps etc failing.

Hi folks,

Just thought I'd follow tradition on the forums and say hello in here. Although i dont own an FL2, some folk may know me from the Disco3 site, I've been a member on there for a few years now.

I've just finalised a chat with Martin to become a site sponsor on here, but that will come in another posting once Martin lists me and sticks 'site sponsor' under my name Thumbs Up

Looking forward to chatting to you chaps and chapettes in here.

Best Regards, John Thumbs Up

Hungary 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Tonga Green
Maybe the first from Hungary?

Hi all,

I`ve just performed registration to this site. Nice, with lots of infos, and seems to be a good "team spirit" Smile
We have a Freelander 2 since 2007 dec, with S comfort (basic?) level, LHD. To tell the truth, we are really satisfied with the car, over 25.ooo km-es. The car has been just modified to have factory roof rails, and right now purchased the original cross bars to it, to carry anything on the top.
Thank you and congratulations for this site. Very useful!
