Indeed, I am in a group of claimants and had the same email from the solicitors, it is typical of the U.K. consumer protection law that companies see us in the U.K. as an easy target for ignoring complaints and issues with products, the first country to get a settlement was the good’old US of A………who’d have guessed?  Regards

Yes, VAG have shown utter contempt for the UK customer and hope to use legal loopholes to get out of paying what is a trifling sum compared to the fines etc they've been forced to pay elsewhere. Jules
