I would try and get a HSE Lux or Metropolis for that sort of money. You get xenons and a few other bits and pieces which are worth having. I am like you-I have an older HSE which is totally reliable. I have been looking for 2 months. There are a few cars around that have been on the market awhile. Some are starting to fall in price (by as much as £2000) so worth being patient and waiting out the market till it levels out. If you love that one though go for it-it’s only money👍 |

I agree, if you have that sort of money, hang on and wait for a HSE LUX or Metro.

A 14 plate is due a cambelt etc even at a low milage so make you factor that into the price. |

I have been looking for a while now, even before posting about it on here. Trouble is 9 out of 10 Metro’s are black which I don’t want & the odd one that’s not black has a cream interior which I also don’t like, highish miles on cars I could afford & don’t want that either, 60000 is ok but 70 getting a bit high for me.

I know what you mean about black-looks nice when clean but I couldn’t live with it. I am after Aintree Green. Previous post about cam belts is correct. SD4 needs changing at 7 years rather than 10. Look out for that because most haven’t been done at 2014MY |
