I wouldn't trust a LR dealer to do a proper job of anything if im honest, and I also wouldn't buy from their overpriced approved scheme. Shame really as we all love the brand that much but its lets down everytime by shocking dealer sales and support

It's completely worthless IMHO. I'd rather have maintenance done by an enthusiast/ DIYer than any main dealer. You wouldn't believe the bad workmanship and bodges I found on my 1 owner, D3 which had only ever been serviced at the same LR dealer. It was shockingly bad, so I don't think much of the dealer ability or honesty myself. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone. Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver. 1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project. |

I would rather eat my own than let a main dealer work on my car/motorcycle, they just don't give a monkeys and view the service departments as a necessary evil instead of an integral part of the business, Its all about selling cars/bikes not looking after them ! |

when I first got my D4 I knew it was due the belts being done, searched around and the Land Rover 3+ scheme was about the same price as an Indy, as was their B service so due to convenience I booked into them for a 2 day job.

I had a dealer do a main service on my FL1, some years ago. On collection I read the invoice, it showed a replacement air filter. I asked the service manager if I could have the old one, that had been removed, back. He asked "Why". to which I explained it was a K&N filter !!!!

when it comes to the FL2 dealer serviced doesn't actually make sense unless you are confident in that particular dealership - there are very good and dreadful dealerships.

An actuary is someone who´d rather be completely wrong than approximately right.

I have found this HSE which I am going to look at & possibly buy, looks very nice in the pictures but will need to see it obviously. £15490 with 62000 miles. Does that price seem about right.
