You wish. Whistle

I want to see the photos. Bow down

People in the past have bought the rim then look for the tyrs.

There are more options available from tyre manufactures if you look at the 17" steel wheel.

Too much tyre noise!

255/60R18 are the go. Any wider & the spare will be too high in the boot. With 255 you will need 6mm of packing in the boot. Your fuel consumption will increase about 4%. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

these are 235 65 17 on a LR steel rim, although Ford steel rims are similar, they have an extra hole punched in them (note 'missing' punch in LR rim - don't know why ?)

Would love to go for the 255/60/18 but I'd have to get 2 more rims and 6 new tyres Shocked

We went around Australia with the original tyres. Destroyed a tyre on the Gibb River Road, the east end is rough. We had intended to get TPMS but were busy & didn't get around to it. It would have saved us from a slow leak.

Because the tyres were road tyres we took it very carefully on the corrugations & stone strewn roads. You will be ok but you need to be extra careful. There are so many dead tyres out there.

Get TPMS, set pressure for the road surface & get tyre repair kit & compressor (with 6 wheels get a twin compessor like the ARB with a tank, you will appreciate the the extra speed), I started with 1 compessor & it was too slow for my liking, & 2 gauges.

If you can pump up the tyres quickly, you well actually do it. It is quicker to run around take off all the sensors, then air up or down, then all sensors back on. If you do this as a team it is really quick.

Put an Anderson plug in the engine bay to speed things up further. https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic34015.html Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
