United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Santorini Black

Hello Everyone - what a great forum.

Just bought an Santorini Black 08 TD4 XS with xenons, Privacy Glass, and most of the whistles and bells . Bought it from Hammonds in Halesworth Suffolk.

Decided that it was time to put the old Rangie P38 SE out to grass. (its going to auction V Soon BTW!)

Totally bowlled over by the Freelander2 - what a fantastic 4X4. Took it to Wiltshire and back this weekend and it's at home on the motorway as much as out in the cuds.

Lots of great info on here. Lets hope this forum goes from strength to strength.

Cheers

Foz

Scotland 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Santorini Black
Hi all - another newbie

Thought I'd just Hi, recently bought a Freelander 2 SE Auto and am pretty impressed with it to be honest. It was my Partners fault we got one, she rode in a pals and decided we needed to trade in the Mazda MX5 Shocked

After no luck with the Dealers in Edinburgh (have to say I wasn't that impressed with them), I spoke to a friend of mine in the Lake District and his Brother-in-Law worked in KentDale Landrover in Kendal. Within a week he had sourced us this:-

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/richardandsally/Freelander2#

I know.. doesn't do it much justice does it. It's an ex Management car with 4600 miles on the clock, and they did do us a good deal (as far as we were concerned anyway). Anyway, once we got it we were really happy. The one thing that let it down was the paintwork (no, not the fact it was Black Laughing ), it just looked a bit tired. So yesterday I got it sorted by John at JKP Detail in Longridge, West Lothian. Unfortunately, I don't have any before photos, but it now looks like this:-

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/richardandsally/CarsByJKPDetail# (click slideshow once you're in there).

Hope the links all work ok and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Richard
