Hello and welcome, you seem to have developed the love/hate relationship required for LR ownership very early on That is how it will feel after a while but at least it will numb the pain.

I only bought mine for shooting..now I never actually meant shoot the car..just to accompany me.. Had a Pinin before ,cracking 4x4 got me where I needed to go quietly being petrol' didn't matter if I scratched it but the floor fell out with 74k .Now the LR goes where I need to if a Tad wider and scratches make me wince as newer and dearer! Still our travelling friends don't steal them like defenders .
So looks like it could be a million things between the bumpers ..from a fat key fob upwards..joy..

We don't use ours for shooting its just an very comfortable overpriced family wagon, Nissan Navara does the dirty work.

Better late than never.

On the back of the overnight news, you should be ok to 2030

The plan is to ban the sale of new petrol/diesel. Nothing said so far about existing engines.
I was wondering if the same will apply to motorcycles and commercial vehicles.

I am Adam, from Teesside (the Costa Del!). I am not new to Land Rovers having had several other variants of Defender and Discovery over the years, but this is my first Freelander. It is our second car, mainly for me to use not only to travel up to Aberdeen and back, but to modify as I see fit etc.

I am currently offshore so I can't upload a photo of the car, but as it stands it's pretty much a standard SD4 HSE Freelander 2.


As I say, I do intend to make some changes/additions to the car as time progresses and as I did with my D3's/D4's, I will check in here and share anything I can do.

P38 v8 auto no problems,great howle from exhausts when giving it welly
Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car.
1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum.
2nd Tdv6 se auto epb
