yes dont bother, although there is an argument with 4x4's to use the tyres at the same rate so you can then fit 4 news at once to keep the rolling diameters equal. If you have even wear front to back there is no need At work

Just changed my tyres for first time at 87000kms, I didn't rotate them and they wore at very even rate, at most there was 1mm difference between front and rear. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ... but not any more ... ... psst look at my gallery!

Just had 15000 service and changing wheels on same axle, unless tyres are directional is an item on the service schedule

I thought all tyres (well at least the better types) were all directional Which would mean as TonyJ mentioned is a service schedule item.
