It seems a pity that another promising start up car manufacturing venture seems to be going down the drain.

Rich, they have started on the groundwork already after promises from Ineos ( bit naive from Welsh gov. ) Sad thing is, this brand spanking new factory is next door to the Ford plant If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny. 🐑 Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again. Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone. |

Not such a bad idea - ready made skilled labour, all you need to do is poach them, seen it before. There was a retailer that I knew who opened up a large new warehouse, not many trained Forklift and order picker operators, so they had to instigate a training program. Now at the time their treatment of staff was at best shocking, but it was an area of high unemployment so it worked for them. If you received any training, and left within 12 months you had to pay back the training cost. Then a national retailer opened a warehouse across the road and poached a large number of the first companies staff (not difficult as they were being treated in a Dickensian manner), if your CV said that you came from across the road, as an incentive you got a bonus equivalent to the training fee that you had to pay back. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner |

Maybe because if you are from Manchester, the option is North Wales, Blackpool or cross into the badlands of Yorkshire?

The Bronco is more FL2 size, unlike the Grenadier and New Defender. |
