United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Sumatra Black
help needed

Good Morning My FL2 is due for its MOT and after giving it a quick once over I have found that I need a new Drivers Seat Belt (old one has frayed) I have tried to get one from Landrover but no one answers the phone and the online suppliers sites are not very helpful. Does anyone know the correct part number for the drivers seat belt on a 07 reg Freelander 2 XS TD4 A. plus where can I get one.

Hi,
Reggie has given a link for G. O. S. I have just had a delivery of an Actuator lock from them,
it arrived the next day with standard delivery option and was Very well packed, lots of packing in the box
so on the strength of that I would recommend them, its fitted and works fine.

They also accepted an offer rather than just B.I.N. price Whistle

Thumbs Up .
my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars!
But its now gone way up Norf

Thanks was trying to get a new one if possible but will have to get a salvage part if necessary. I do know about the 6month extension. how ever I have spoken to my garage and they can fit it in, as they are slow work wise at the moment.

The belt was ok before January and may of lasted a bit longer. However with Covid 19 and making deliveries Its worn out due to jumping in and out of the car.

RimmerBros site keeps coming up with the belt for the discovery 110 so I will give them a call and see if its the same belt.

The LR part number for a RH driver seat belt is LR050782 (after Vin CH302820) according to L/cat parts catalog. But there are several dependent on Vin no. See links below

Got a defender and the seatbelt was all frayed, took it for an mot, tester failed it on the seatbelt, he went to a cupboard and came back with a lit blowtorch, oh lord i thought, a couple of passes over the frays and it looked like new.

thanks for the advise. the belt is completely frayed cleaning up the fluffy bits will only leave a big lump out of the belt. thanks for all the other sites I will give them a try.
