Good Morning My FL2 is due for its MOT and after giving it a quick once over I have found that I need a new Drivers Seat Belt (old one has frayed) I have tried to get one from Landrover but no one answers the phone and the online suppliers sites are not very helpful. Does anyone know the correct part number for the drivers seat belt on a 07 reg Freelander 2 XS TD4 A. plus where can I get one. |

Have you checked on the DVLA website for mot checking as they are extending your MOT by 6 months at the moment due to COVID-19 MY06 FL1 TD4 2 door red (gone)

Thanks was trying to get a new one if possible but will have to get a salvage part if necessary. I do know about the 6month extension. how ever I have spoken to my garage and they can fit it in, as they are slow work wise at the moment.

The LR part number for a RH driver seat belt is LR050782 (after Vin CH302820) according to L/cat parts catalog. But there are several dependent on Vin no. See links below

Got a defender and the seatbelt was all frayed, took it for an mot, tester failed it on the seatbelt, he went to a cupboard and came back with a lit blowtorch, oh lord i thought, a couple of passes over the frays and it looked like new. |

thanks for the advise. the belt is completely frayed cleaning up the fluffy bits will only leave a big lump out of the belt. thanks for all the other sites I will give them a try. |
