"And what was the amount of new cell phone accounts within that period?"

In the business its known as 'Churn'. This in the past, was 6-9mths ........ now 12-18mths, as what you paid for your last phone is still debit and subscribers are reluctant to 'give them up' in favour of 'more debt' for small added features.

True across the world, currently.

While I think China certainly is vastly understating CV-19 deaths (NYC added 3,000 people to their total today that apparently died on the way to hospitals), Breitbart is a questionable news source in my opinion Wink .

This is what Wiki says of Breitbart, (so I'm not taking this story seriously)

Breitbart News Network (known commonly as Breitbart News, Breitbart or Breitbart.com) is an American far-right[6] syndicated news, opinion and commentary[7][8] website founded in mid-2007 by American conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart, who conceived it as "the Huffington Post of the right".[4][9][10] Its journalists are widely considered to be ideologically driven, and some of its content has been called misogynistic, xenophobic, and racist by liberals and many traditional conservatives alike.[11] The site has published a number of conspiracy theories,[12][13] and intentionally misleading stories.[14][15]
Breitbart News aligned with the alt-right under the management of former executive chairman Steve Bannon,[16] who declared the website "the platform for the alt-right" in 2016.[17] In 2016, Breitbart News became a virtual rallying spot for supporters of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

'Stephenie Wardle usually works in hospitals across Adelaide and South Australia's rural and remote regions.

However, despite the coronavirus pandemic, the casual agency nurse has not had a job in almost a month.

"I've had nothing whatsoever, not even remote work. I've just been stuck at home," she said.'

An Adelaide shopper has attempted to return thousands of dollars' worth of supplies to a local supermarket after stockpiling them at the start of the coronavirus panic buying outbreak, a retailer says.

https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-15/...s/12149548

But the man, who initially tried and failed to re-sell the goods online, has been refused a refund.

Drakes Supermarkets director John-Paul Drake said the man called the supermarket to try to get a refund on 132 packs of toilet rolls and 150 one-litre bottles of hand sanitiser. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Exactly that was my point, just taking the number of accounts ending amount to bo11ocks, now maybe the difference between ended accounts and new accounts taken out, but even that doesn’t mean every one was a due to a CV-19 death, that website is way past dodgy. Regards

David

I think we all need to know how this woman with the tape measure was going to be able to measure the distance between two people without getting within two meters of either of them . . . !

Not to mention managing the 72 hour quarantine of the infected tape measure ready for the next offensive. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

She obviously needs to go back to school, she could have easily used a laser at a distance to measure the distance between herself & the 2 suspects & the angle between the 2 suspects from her position. Trigonometry..... Easy & all done at a distance! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

It's unlikely that 2 meters are ever likely to be the safe distance apart, there are not many meters larger than 30cm in size be them square, oblong or round, however 2 metres may well be a safe distance. That is the problem with the decimal system, now 6feet 6inches which a touch less than 2 metres cannot be confused, though I'm sure someone will mistake feet for feat, another vagary of the English spelling and meaning, but letting in foreign measurements is sure to confuse Rolling with laughter my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Recent research points to 12 meters being the safe distance for a gasping panting runner or cyclist. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

If you have even seen architectural drawings for a development application for a new building the distance of 2 metres is staggering! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
