United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Sumatra Black

Hi Nick

Cheers for the welcome. Basing my worries on the reliability index on Warranties Direct (one of the reputable insurance warranty providers, as featured n Watchdog) Anyway - Forester is the second most reliable on their database but Freelander is, er, not very high up with a index of over 200.

Hasn't put me off buying.

Kippy eh? Watch out for a Pimp stylie 07, in Sumatra Black with privacy glass, towing a little Eriba Troll (which I'll probably forget is there Laughing )

Cheers

Steve Also available in Clean.

2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

Hi

Another noob here.
About to get my first FL2 – and first Land Rover – this weekend. Already discovered a lot through lurking here over the past week or so – thanks for all the great advice (and a few laughs) so far...

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Another new guy to Freelanders. Just picked up a 56 plate GS. I finally decided I missed my disco 2 way too much and flogged the BMW to get back into a 4x4 (not a truck or jeep)

Owned a few other landrovers and still own a Series III for trialling.

I have sworn not to trial the freelander but already i find myself looking at where I can add recovery points. Wink I must be addicted:

Currently:

56 Freelander 2 GS
74 Series III Truck Cab

Previously

99 Discovery II TD5
84 90 CSW 3.5 V8

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

Very Happy Hello everybody peeps! Found the site whilst surfin'. I have just picked up my Freelander 2 having been a Freelander 1 owner since 2000. What a difference. The 2 is light years ahead and sooo refined. This site looks to be full of useful info. I hope to contribute in the future. In the mean time I need to go and look at the car for a while. Thumbs Up Cider I up landlord!!!

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Indus Silver

Hello all. Having mixed feelings today as the first chance to investigate my new GS (picked up Wednesday but been on the road since). But had to say goodbye to my faithful Discovery 300 as I can't really justify 2 Land Rovers.

Potential new owner

Thought that i would say hello as ive had one foot planted in the D3 site for about 3 years.

We decided to defect over to a Freelander and have been looking at new ones. However, i just can't get my head around that old enemy, depreciation, so we have decided to get a used one.

Fingers crossed that tomorrow we will be the owners of an 07 HSE in Stornaway Grey with factory privacy glass and Xenons. Thumbs Up

You know there's usually a reason for lower prices ..... Wink

My main memory of Kippax was the trip to Gibson lane swimming pool once a month - I still can't swim!

Anyway - I've bought a Zematt Silver XS today, delivery next week, so I hope to learn all about my new purchase here and how to retrofit all the stuff I should have bought this morning Rolling Eyes

I wonder how long mine's been parked up in Warwickshire Big Cry

It is normally the rare colours that will be difficult to sell later.
Stornoway, silver and the blacks will be no problem to sell, the bright blues and greens will be the most difficult colours to sell second hand (at least in Norway). 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.
