Go for a “normal” 4500>5000 temperature light as the higher the colour temperature the less light output and don’t bother with the 55 watt versions for years I have been using 35 watt versions (as OE bulbs are) in vehicles with projector lamps with OE halogen bulbs and the HiDs have never given anything but great service, just buy from somewhere reputable like HiDs4U or Powerbulbs, they’ve been around and selling these for ages. Great looking results there Bob, and I’ve never had one fail ![]() David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |

Thanks for the update - you say that full beam takes 5 or 6 seconds to come up to full power so does this mean you can't flash (if you will pardon the expression) someone? When you first turn them on to dipped is there a time delay?
