Driven to a cottage in the middle of nowhere, in the Wye Valley. Rained from about 15 miles before the Severn Bridge and barely stopped since we arrived. |

Got back yesterday from our Grand daughters birthday weekend up in Norfolk, in total it was a 800 mile trip with 600 on Motorways......cruised mostly at an indicated 70mph (true 66mph we find it better at that speed on CC for avoiding crazys cutting and thrusting and still fast enough to overtake the trucks withoutndrama) got a return of 28mpg which I was pleased about for a petrol 3.2litres six auto, the FL2 was perfect for the trip Regards

Oh yes perfect apart from the call out Saturday night to a neighbouring farm which had had some “visitors” attempting some fun by igniting a few thousand pounds worth of stack........melted one of our irrigation lines as well, if they get caught best they get locked up straight away! Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |

There was a gap in the rain today between 2-3pm when the nearby hills did indeed look stunning |

Thanks Jules, but recently a court case finished and the perpetrators sentenced after having “fun” setting light to pigs in the fields with tyres around them and a new born litters with accelerant while in the night shelter......thank heaven we stick to arable or we’d be out lamping.......but not for wildlife

Picked up 10 sacks of 20mm gravel for a french drain, took an old lady to church, went to Mass, dropped off the gravel and took 4 large sacks of spoil to the tip, sorry recycling centre.
