My wife has just returned with the car

She hit a fence, apparently it was the fences fault for being there.

Has anyone used the Landrover accident service or is it best to go directly to my insurance company.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Ring insurance but insist on getting LR to repair it not the ins co's preferred bodyshop, LR should give you a courtesy car. ban wifey from driving unless you are wanting a drink or two  At work

God know's, and she said she was only going 1mph.

have a look at LR as they will still provide warranty on the parts replaced

Looks to be a new door skin, new sides steps (doubt they sell single step, but you'll have a spare) and trim

You quite often get a door popping up on ebay and the side mouldings. Had a quick look and couldn't see any doors but there are side mouldings there at the moment.

FYI door skin is about £380 unpainted as I found out when someone put a dent in mine.

All told the total cost to replace the door was nearly £1400. ______________________
