if she managed all that at 1mph I would hate to see a shunt at 5mph!! (sounds like she was giving it some, lost control and clipped a high kerb) Embarassed Embarassed

Maybe she hit it and gave it some more power and did not move. Since the spedometer was on the first litle stripe she assumed she was doing 1mph....? Whistle

Sorry that I'm having a bit of fun with it, but I think I personally would be devestated if it were tor happen to me, meaning 'I do feel your pain'.

Just a quick update,

Took the car to lookers Colchester to take advantage of the "Land rover accident assistant" only to be told that because there was no third party to blame, they would not do a sodding thing. Just take it to that body shop up the road mate, and claim on ya insurance. Just some friendly advice would have gone a long way.

Hi all,

Got the car back minus the side steps so I didn't pay the insurance excess. they only made my trousers dirty anyway.

Very pleased with the repair, done by Shakily and son, Colchester.
