Not today...but the last two days. Left Llafranc on the Costa Brava on Saturday..drove to Vierzon for an overnight stay in the hotel Campanile. Sunday drove via the channel tunnel to home in Surrey. The two day trip through France a sheer delight with traffic free motorways and no lorries on the roads on Sunday. But on return to the UK...what a nightmare!. The whole of the M20 was set at 50 mph and then warning signs of a 30 min delay on the M25. Decided to take the south circular but that took 30 mins longer than the original delay! Anyway, we had no appointments, so all part of life's rich tapestry. |

Cycled part of that route from Buckinghamshire when I was a lad. Stayed in YHA hostel at Ystradfellte, down onto the Gower and Tenby. Fell of the bike at Narbeth and had to get the train home with limbs in plaster. Later on did construction works in Merthyr and Hirwaun. Lovely part of the world. |

Exciting day by comparison to others on here - dropped significant other to station, saw physio, bought tonight's dinner, sat and read paper. Dropping SO to doctor at 6.
