I believe that the 2019/20 update for the Gen2.1 system should be available with in a few weeks, so it would be worth hanging on for a bit and checking the website to see when this becomes available.

Thanks for the warning, but I think most people here use SatNaviShop, I have used them a number of times without issue. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

I read the reviews of the recommended site & people are saying it takes 2 or 3 hours to download, my car shuts down after 5mins does that effect the downloading? Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

If your car shuts down before it is completed then the update will restart at the point that it had got to, it does mean that the satnav is not available until the update is completed. I think that it also requires you to shut down at the end of the update so that it can get a clean restart with the new maps. Evening, silly question time I've a 63 plate and it would be good to update the mapping before a couple of Europe trips we're making in the next year. Am I right in assuming the update comes by way of a disc that I simply upload into the box under the seat? Or is into the CD slot?

Hi Sid although mine is USB I believe if you have box under seat that is where disc is inserted someone will chip in if that's wrong If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

From memory I think your favourites are kept, but personally I have purchased a new TomTom as it has quarterly updates so it is more up to date and cost me only marginally more than the latest USB update. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone
