Potential Acid Attack Jules

You are quite correct not all are.

Not sure how Gina Miller comes in to the larger debate apart from ensuring Parliament had a say but I just looked at her listing in Wikipedia and its quite frightening the abuse she has had to take from slime (with a heredity title) playing a disgusting race card. Seems his mother was from Chile so a case of a kettle calling the pan !

The legal challenge met with a "torrent" of abuse from some of those supporting Brexit, including racial abuse and death threats.[20] In the two days following the judges' decision, more than 79,000 tweets mentioned her account, of which about 13 per cent were hostile. Many referred to her as a traitor and mentioned her perceived "foreign-ness".[36] Miller's solicitor, Mishcon de Reya, was subjected to abuse as a result of its involvement in the case, and Brexit supporters mounted a protest outside the firm's offices.[37] A man, aged 55, was arrested in November 2016 on suspicion of racially aggravated malicious communications over threats to Miller,[38] but was later told he would not be prosecuted.[39] Another man, aged 50, was arrested in January 2017, also in relation to the complaint made in November;[39] the second man was later named as Rhodri Philipps, 4th Viscount St Davids, who was charged on 7 March.[40] Philipps, of Knightsbridge, London, described Miller as a "boat jumper" and added: "If this is what we should expect from immigrants, send them back to their stinking jungles". Philipps also posted "£5,000 for the first person to 'accidentally' run over this bloody troublesome first generation immigrant" on Facebook.[41] He pleaded "not guilty" to three charges of malicious communication under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 2 May 2017. At the May hearing, the prosecution said the crown would seek an extended sentence because of the racial aggravation factor.[42] He was found guilty of two charges at his trial on 11 July 2017, at which he defended himself.[43] Philipps described his own comments as "satire".[41] He was later sentenced to 12 weeks in prison.[44]

At least eight other people were issued with cease and desist notices by the police.[45] In August 2017, Miller said she had faced continuing threats of acid attacks in recent months, and fears leaving her home.[46]

The guy is 100% accurate, in my opinion. I find it spectacular that there isn't far more uproar about the way this is headed. The only way this can be settled is with another referendum. I don't think that's undemocratic, before anyone says it is. The will of the people was based on lies and false information. Ironically, thanks to EU rules, if you enter a contract with say a mobile phone operator and you change your mind within a time frame because it isn't what you thought, you can change your mind and leave.

This isn't like a general election where another chance will come in a few years, this is a once in a lifetime change that will destroy what is left of UK industry and it will never recover. It must be stopped at all costs.

In my opinion.

Leave the EU

Ban the import of Dutch toms
Ditto Italian spuds
In fact ban imports of ANY fruit and veg that will grow in our soil

People readily pay stupid prices for soya milk............Introduce a minimum price for milk similar to introducing a minimum wage....so the Dairy farmer is guaranteed a return on his investment to enable him to sustain and develop his business.

Ban the import of Dutch flowers and plants. Fed up seeing shiney new Scanias delivering to tiny flower shops in towns and villages, Encourage flower and plant production in uk.

I assume EU growers receive huge subsidies to enable them to STEAL
Business from uk growers.

Now tell me it’s better to stay in the EU

Mowog the free market comes with leaving the EU so farmers will have to sink or swim and the Westminster set of corrupt Censored peddling this will be the ones hoovering up the land sold beneath the bankrupt farmer. In 10 years you will need insurance for health care but the EU is not perfect. That is a view and not a dictate. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Remain lost - get over it.

For better or worse are leaving the EU.

It's up to our politicians to deliver the Brexit the majority voted for.

Once away from the the cesspool of the EU and our elected representatives (of which ever flavour) will have to start to earn their keep - the era of thr career politcian is over - thank god.

We will be masters of our own destiny - you never know you might like being out of the EU Very Happy

Just my two penneth worth.

Cheers

Well I enjoyed being not in the EU

running an international haulage company and needing permits to go to Italy France Germany and Spain,
I still thought it was good to be independent and British.

Thank God we never joined the Euro.

BUT...............will the influential remainers force us to stay in?

When I voted to leave I didn’t realise it was best of three.

Reminds me of an African nation that keeps having recounts until they get the decision they wanted Rolling with laughter

Well I remember what I voted for, so anyone who says I did not understand, or there was not enough information must have been living in a bunker.

Sure lots of people are coming up with stuff, lots of it being utter rubbish like the planes will fall from the sky! and I won't be able to go to Spain on holiday!!

These are the people that have no faith in this country or it's inhabitants, look what we the UK are responsible for:

Our government system is not known as the mother of democracy for nothing, we have traveled far and wide, educated, trained and reformed all manner of countries including France, Germany, US and Australia and we still have a world wide influence far greater than size of country we are.

We are innovators, builders, engineers, farmers, designers, entrepreneurs and very capable people, we do not need a bunch of unelected bureaucrats to tell us how to live or work or trade, we have been doing it for centuries and we will continue to do so when we leave the corrupt European system.

Bring it on ........  MY2014 SD4 XS

Here are the real results.

16.1 million wanted to stay.

17.4 million wanted to leave.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/eu_referendum/results

Not much difference really and when in 2016 Leave thought they were going to marginally loose they started this petition asking for a 60/40 majority.

Mr Healey, a former MEP candidate for the English Democrats, launched the petition in November stating: "We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if the Remain or Leave vote is less than 60% based on a turnout less than 75%, there should be another referendum.”

However, the author of the petition has now published a statement distancing himself from it. William Oliver Healey wrote on Facebook: “This petition was created at a time (over a month ago) when it was looking unlikely that 'leave' were going to win, with the intention of making it harder for 'remain' to further shackle us to the EU. Due to the result, the petition has been hijacked by the remain campaign.”

I don't recall anyone saying they wanted to take away anyone's rights, so where did this baloney come from, are you saying that only the EU have a brain? are you saying that only the EU can protect people?

Sure we have rules that were agreed by the EU but remember we are currently part of the rule making process and have contributed positively to protect individuals and businesses for the UK and the EU and we will continue to protect UK citizens after we leave. If parliament doesn't, then we vote them out, that's called democracy. Try ousting Barnier & co, you can't because they are not elected.

I really don't understand where all this rubbish comes from, no one has made a pledge to alter any rules or worker protection, in fact the UK government has already acted and enshrined current EU legislation into UK law so nothing is being surrendered regarding rights or protection.

The best way to heal the country and bring people together is to make it a country again rather than an annex of Europe, stand up and be counted, be proud to be British  MY2014 SD4 XS

You're not allowed to that's the problem.....it's not PC and is seen by the intelligentsia of the Left as racist! Rolling Eyes

Unfortunately, with these bell-ends finding faux-offence at anything remotely patriotic, we will never be able to come together and regain a sense of national pride. This dangerous obsession with 'diversity' is out of control, and not ONE politician on any side will call it out for what it really is - a failed social experiment!
