Frankly, one collision in over 20 years, irrespective of who was at fault and given the amount of f.cukwits that are incapable of driving safely, and on the road today drug/drink driving is pretty good going for anyone of any age. Perhaps people and the media just need to get off his back and find something else to whinge about. It's a convenient distraction from the shambles that has become BREXIT. |

And now the other party are moaning that they've not had an apology! Would they have expected one if it had been Joe Bloggs in his Ford Focus? I don't think so.

I thought that the insurance companies tell you not to discuss the accident on the grounds that even if you think it was your fault, it might not be and this would compromise the claim. As for the £68k Freelander they can have mine for £65k if he needs another one. I will even deliver it for that price. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

A sensible approach. In any event, he can't get "done" for it, as it was not witnessed by an Officer on duty. This trial by media makes me sick....if they carry on in this way, I suspect that injunctions will be taken out against the media-circus around the area in question. |

I doubt whether the Royal family need or have insurance, there is not a need if one supplies a bond to the government covering all contingencies in event of a claim, one of the advantages of being extremely well off my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

LR have never done an armoured Freelander2 as far as I'm aware, more importantly I've never known any armoured conversion on which the windows can be completely wound down! Its pretty difficult to get a 25mm window to slide in the existing door frame. I suspect someone has picked up the pricing for top of the range DSport with all accessories and accepted that you can print what you like in the UK without anyone bating an eye lid. |

Vanny, a armoured Freelander 2 can be hired. All you have to is go to Brazil for that pleasure.

Don't know where you got that idea from but it is completely wrong eg evidence from witnesses and cameras come to mind No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS "Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car |

The Freelander only has 500 kg payload. Wouldn't be a lot left for passengers after armour is installed. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
