Hahahaha RogB you are correct. That’s my Dad’s.... I moved it off the drive as the hosepipe won’t stretch that far. I was looking at the Evoque wheels he’s put on 🤔

16” wheels were definitely available on the FL2 . They are also the best size for off-road or winter IMHO . Tyres are cheaper , and you get a nice big sidewall . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Definitely 16” with 215/75/R16 tyres on them. He wanted something to update the look on his and opted for an Evoque set of wheels. They were advertised at £200 but no interest, I’ll mention it’s Christmas soon and I’m looking at some winter wheels 😉

What a pleasure.... offered to take the wife to work as it’s her Christmas party later, sat in the car this morning with the heated seat on its lowest setting as the quick clear button worked its magic. Felt a bit smug watching the neighbour abuse her matalan card scraping away at the windows.

Added a big dose of concentrated screen wash to the container. I had filled it with the recommended concentration for down to -10C and although the temperature was only -2C the screenwash froze when it hit the screen.

Our first 08 reg FL2 was an "S" model and it came with 16" wheels which just fitted with only a few mm space around the calipers. We had trouble getting tyres for it from the usual suppliers (the likes of ATS and Kwik Fit) who both said that the ones fitted (originals) were Transit van tyres (remember that Ford owned LR at this time) and one insisted that there must be a mistake and even refused to quote. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |

Took out the dog cage then drove up the fields to the woods. Managed to fill the boot with logs. Good job I bought the wife a new chain for her chainsaw for Christmas. 11 GS Bali Blue

I let my wife drive today so I could sample a Christmas Eve pint or two..... I didn’t criticise the parking as it’s a long walk from Chester 😂
