Hippo; This may be the answer. The voice volume can only be altered when she is actually speaking, and it's adjusted with the RADIO volume button. Possibly the radio volume is turned right down and so the voice is silent. I can only suggest that you try to anticipate when a likely voice message is announced and whack up the volume on the radio at the same time. Just a thought, not an authoritive solution. |

Re sat nav volume. There is also the option to turn the voice off in the sat nav menu. Might be worth checking that`s not what has been done. I very seldom have the voice commands activated on mine. |

Cheers Yorky Bob - I’m a forum newby! Like you say each to their own, personally I like the look of the side steps - health reason? My wife’s a short arse does that count?? plus I don’t anticipate doing any serious off roading so the inhibited ground clearance shouldn’t be an issue. |
