That clip

Just changed the air filter today,that Spring clip what a ........bought the sealy vs1664 clamp pliers.had to grind the stub to fit into the clip and reduce the length of the stub on the pliers as not to Bottom out on the other side of the jaws of the clamp .but it worked.hope that makes sense.

New intercooler, hoses and a/c condenser fitted.

Bl***y intercooler hose took longer than everything else trying to feed in behind radiator. mucho grazed knuckles.

Finally no more oil drip from bottom of bumper. Andy

Resprayed the tailgate, rot had started to appear round the lamp holder/tailgate release. Can't believe they didn't put a gasket between body and holder! So I have sourced a suitable length of rubber, also repaired two busted bolts missing from the holder and painted it black instead of the crappy grey finish. Going o spray the front grill black tomorrow. REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy
