There is another little module that sits into the steering wheel that connects into your spare wiring. It is part number LR039869. Costs about £100 or so from memory. |

There is a module that sits below the left switch pack for the heated steering wheel so I would deduct that is why you have a spare plug and a non functional horn and heated steering wheel.

So what is wrong then? There is nothing to plug into that extra socket? I have checked everything.

You need to check part numbers for your steering wheel harness, you must have the wrong one. From memory there is 3 different steering wheel main harnesses depending on the specification of the steering wheel.

It came pre fitted on the steering wheel from Duckworth. Is it different for different cars then, like disco 4? |

I'm happy to ignore it but the wheel and horn are not working. Everything else works. Here is the heated module..

Remove the right switch pack and I’m sure that 4 position plug plugs into the back of the switch pack. MY15

I am not sure what you mean? If you see the top post on this page you will see a pic of the back of my right switchpack and it has 2 sockets a large one and a small one both have plugs in them.
