If you mean the clockspring then yes and the heated wheel is all connected in both the clockspring and the back of the switch.
Highlighted is the heated switch connection in the back of the swicth panel.

There is another little module that sits into the steering wheel that connects into your spare wiring. It is part number LR039869. Costs about £100 or so from memory. Big Cry

There is a module that sits below the left switch pack for the heated steering wheel so I would deduct that is why you have a spare plug and a non functional horn and heated steering wheel.
The heated steering wheel module plugs into the steering wheel harness. MY15

So what is wrong then? There is nothing to plug into that extra socket? I have checked everything.

Still no horn or heated wheel, though it is connected as it lights up green with the lights.

You need to check part numbers for your steering wheel harness, you must have the wrong one. From memory there is 3 different steering wheel main harnesses depending on the specification of the steering wheel.
I suggest you strip the wire harness out of the steering wheel and confirm the ones you have are correct. All I can see is a spare plug which is wrong. MY15

It came pre fitted on the steering wheel from Duckworth. Is it different for different cars then, like disco 4?

A thought

If its a steering wheel that fits one or more newer models it may be a harness that now has an extra fitting option and on supply for the FL2 you just ignore. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I'm happy to ignore it but the wheel and horn are not working. Everything else works. Here is the heated module..

Remove the right switch pack and I’m sure that 4 position plug plugs into the back of the switch pack. MY15

I am not sure what you mean? If you see the top post on this page you will see a pic of the back of my right switchpack and it has 2 sockets a large one and a small one both have plugs in them.

Also, the 'issue' is a socket as opposed to a plug with 3 terminals.

The left switchpack has a large and a small with only the large filled. Hopefully this will help?
