It was quite bad around these parts earlier today, a bad hail storm on top of the sprinkling of snow last night made the roads very slippery indeed.

Soor Taz I could not tell which hill but if it went wrong it was a dip in the river or hit the wall on the other side,we had to take a detour as the way we would normally go to Layburn was closed. |

So just a recap this only works in first gear,tried it this morning in 2nd and got a flashing truck on the dash.is this because I was in second.

When you were using the HDC Did you try speeding it up and down with the Cruise Control buttons ? Cruise control,not down in the basement.just dropping down from pole moor.watching the wreckage of last night.some small hatchs have a wall climb button.

On my 2014 manual, it works in 1,2,R & Neutral. A useful trick is to engage it before a slippery hill climb. If you then fail the climb and dip the clutch as you shudder to a halt the car rolls back under control from the HDC (though 3mph is quite quick in reverse! ) Best to check this somewhere safe in case it doesn't work on earlier cars..... |

May depend on Terrain Response selected I get a nice set of wheels (graphics) to look at sometimes to show where they are in respect of the body. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
