IMO, You should've considered a 'facelift' grill to your options.

If you intend keeping it for another 5+ years spend the money on it for your own personal enjoyment. Otherwise it is a money pit! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I do like the facelift grill however do you not need a full bumper change as the facelift grill doesn't cut into the top of the bumper? If this is true I would loose the HST front and Im not sure how a Sport front end would look with the HST sides and rear. |

That is exactly how I feel about it the black seems to tidy up the front end and add some aggression Have you got any uploaded photos of your colour coded D pillers? Ive not really thought of doing that I was going to gloss black them to try and 'loose' them into wrap around glass. Another option now think about |

It is indeed going to stay for the foreseeable future I have somewhat fallien in love with her I realise they can be expensive but I have hopefully fire proofed her somewhat as she has a new DMF and clutch kit fitted when I bought her, I then had the 10 year service with an extended rear axle service completed when I got her. My mech went over her with a comb when its was in bits and he says she is solid with no obvious issues as yet. Fingers crossed |

HST and Sport/Dynamic are exactly the same sides and rear. The only difference between the two kits is the 3 front pieces, but yes you'd need a whole new bumper to change to a facelift grille. |

Ah thank you I didn't realise they were the same apart from the front sections, I will remember that because eventually I would like to face lift her with the rear lights and boot handle so maybe facelift the front end too with the bumper, grill and lights.

Dam! That is one good looking Freelander you have there and the pillars look great, looking closely at them I'm not sure if they will look as good with my Zermatt silver though. A great looking machine mate. If your going through hell, keep going!
