Now that is interesting might think about putting this is reserve at this price for a rainy day, does it have the landy badge holder though cos I quite like that. Hmm If your going through hell, keep going!

That's the lower grille for sale on eBay.
The HST grille clips in to the back of the surround, which in turn is only held on to the bumper by double sided body tape.

Black really was the only way to go. Very Happy

Dam! That is one good looking Freelander you have there and the pillars look great, looking closely at them I'm not sure if they will look as good with my Zermatt silver though. A great looking machine mate. Thumbs Up

Thank you Very Happy I really think yours would look great coded to as long as it’s a good colour match as I know silvers can be hard. As you initially stated a gloss black would also work well. The black plastic D pillars on your car do not match nothing on your car as it is.

Here’s a close up of mine I forgot to post

Ah right did wonder as it didn't look right

Black looks great black on black for you all the way no doubt, I really need to get initially some projector halogen head lights for mine as mine are poo plus they look so much better. Will eventually play with the wiring to add the xenon signature lights money permitting. If your going through hell, keep going!

Haha great minds I've already ordered some Diadem bulbs after taking a look at the picture.

My problem is I love the look of the colour D's but as you say silver can be hard to colour match so think i'm going to stick with the black on Silver theme for the moment.

Is your truck an actual KAHN vehicle or is it a KAHN inspired? I'm a fan of the KAHN styling to a point as it can be a bit 'too fast too furious' at times however yours is tasteful with just enough impact to ooze class Range Rover style without the stupid cost. If your going through hell, keep going!

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4_e Dynamic Manual Fuji White

It’s been Kahn’ed Laughing I bought the dynamic new and specc’ed a few options so it had the body kit and I specc’ed a rare ebony / pimento interior. I didn’t not want to loose the genuine rare interior from JLR. Kahn done the exhausts, 22 alloys, kahn sills, exterior and interior badging and aluminium foot pedals. I did not want to go OTT on he build and wanted to retain most of JLR’s characteristics.

Hers my bio which hasn’t been updated in a while ....

Well my HST has the grill all-black now because the original silver comes off in blobs and starts to look awful.
I painted it with a brush and used Hermetite satin black so that it will stay on nice and hard.
Love it! :wink:https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/userpics/22505/thumb_WP_20170706_20_54_20_Pro%20%285%29.jpghttps://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/userpics/22505/thumb_WP_20170706_20_54_20_Pro%20%285%29.jpg

Reminds of my beloved series one all those years ago. Painted it by hand in coach paint, great finish on a warm summers day but drove to the Yorkshire Dales a bit too soon. Younger brother had been on a lunchtime session and puked out of the passenger window. Crying or Very sad

Sold it a couple of years later still with Carrots stuck all down the Near Side. Shocked FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
