I have just had this on our 60 plate HSE, pre facelift, I have changed the oil and reset the service meter and still have the "Dealer service required" will ring the indy that serviced her @ 8000 miles ago on Monday.................car is on 82k

found this on another site and it was the same procedure I used. took more like 1 min to reset rather than the 15 seconds for this guy

To switch off the service light in your MK6 or MK7 Transit: (worked for FL2 MY11 TD4)

1. Service it
2. Switch on ignition but don't start engine
3. Press Down Brake pedal and Throttle pedal fully, and hold till service light flashes this may take up to a minute, but usually about 15 seconds
4. Switch off igniton

Just used the Brazilian move and it seems the "Service needed in X days" message has cleared OK on my MY13 as I thought it only worked on pre MY13 cars. Great but what I am not sure of is what has happened to the DPF regen cycle messaging, anyone aware if it resets that as well ?

If not anyone know of a cheap bit of kit to reset the DPF as well as service time messages.

Millers Oil currently winging its way up North again from Opie (used the FREEL2 discount code) so hopefully will get new filter and oil into her later this week. Last filter change was done at Indie to also clear message but I now own a shiny new 27 mill ratshit spanner so going to give it a go.

Oil service light just do the Brazilian tip it works all cleared

Still not sure if it going to clear the DPF count on later cars doing the Brazilian war dance. Will have to see how it goes. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
