neat little trick with the boot floor there and I notice the ramp tucked in underneath as well

but do you not find your dog is then sitting up too high ? does this not cause a risk if you break hard of the dog flying over the top of the back seats? Would it be better and safer to have a half height dog guard fitted (Travall or genuine)

Removed all the accumulated clutter that you generate in a car, double checked that I have left nothing in it, apart from my works badge and all the stuff like wheel key, gunk and pump and hand book. Tomorrow afternoon it goes back and I get a nice new shiny 67 plate DS.

I hope the new car is as good as this has been. Only had a parking sensor replaced as it was constantly on after a heavy down pour and a valve to select air recirculation or exterior, as that pulsed at speed. In all my car has been pretty good and an effortless mile muncher.

Said goodbye to my Freelander today. Really good car and enjoyed having it, but upgraded whilst I could. Picked up my new car today.

Well yesterday actually,
Drove from Sunny Margate up north to Jedburgh, I will say that after 400+ miles the Freelander is certainly a relaxing car to drive, (especially with all SWMBO's luggage)
Monday we'll start the touring with Cragside, Bamburgh and Kielder, plus we want to visit the Kielder Observatory, so fingers crossed for clear skies.

Picked up my FL2 from the dealers after warranty approved changing door seals, door locks and wheelarch rubbers

door seals and locks were done spot on, no more multiple presses of the key fob to open my door

they didn't do the wheel arch rubbers but when I mentioned it they checked and found there is a recall on RR to replace them, but only a bulletin for FL2 to remove them.

its booked back in next Friday to either remove or replace the wheel arch rubbers.

I got my wheel arch rubbers replaced in March! I've never heard of this bulletin to remove them? Just sounds like a cost saving exercise  MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

maybe.... but either way they are doing the work... and ill check to see if they do replace them obviously.

if something is fitted from factory spec like that, then LR obviously believed there was a design reason for them being there. So why not reverse that reason and just remove them.....

warranty agreed to them being done, and its only 45 quid and 30 mins labour....

filled the boot with 15 x 25kg bags of graval. Nice smooth ride, and it didn't break a sweat, I did though loading and unloading it !!
