Needs a 10 years service ! Its expensive so if not done be aware as its a cam belt etc etc FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

My warranty saved me 4000 uk pounds worth of work so id say a warranty is a must |

That's very worrying. The warranty they offer is not the full "approved used" one, it's a lesser version.

wear and tear exclusion is normal on any warranty but its a bit of grey area on some components

As its a LR dealership ask for the 2 year approved warranty then. That should be OK as you have given away a year. ![]() FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

Thanks Yorky. They have refused an approved used warranty due to vehicle age.

Outside any warranty you can pick off the big service extras slowly and at your leisure but you miss a service item inside a warranty period, claim and they won't pay. You do need to ask about servicing costs while its under any warranty.

Land Rover approved warranty will only cover vehicles up to 6 years old/100k miles at time of purchase. This warranty is (I believe) as good as the 3 year new vehicle warranty.

with the cost of some components on all cars these days im not sure id like to be without a warranty unless it was an old banger |
