Stop start will be fairly pointless for rural owners and judging by the number of fl2's in my rural area, thats a high proportion of owners, but still its free so it may as well be had, especially if it lowers the tax band (does it?) At work

Think it is a pretty pointless system anyway If they are going to save the planet by stop-start systems, I wonder how they will get it to work on the real polluters like aeroplanes and war and heavy industry and tractors and........ 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

As CG states, its free and it lowers the tax band so all is well. Anything which reduces the excessive amount of tax I already give to the government is a winner in my eyes. We have it on my wife's 1-series BMW and its a good system once you get used to it. We turn it off in stop/start traffic as it gets a little annoying but at traffic lights etc it works well. TD4, HSE, Santorini Black, SS side protection tubes, clear side repeaters, chrome wing mirror covers |

OK flyboyben - I guess we don’t agree so there is nothing to discuss here - I will never own such a vehicle by choice but if my next drive has a stop strat system, it will be permanently turned OFF anyway 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
