England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Baltic Blue

I think it's pretty pointless, and would probably switch it off myself unless I'm crawling along in a traffic jam at the time.

However, I think the real reason for installing it is this: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/erin_baker/bl...r_industry

A bunch of corrupt foreign ecoloons have decided that reducing CO2 is preferable to having a local car manufacturing industry. Specialist manufacturers like LR (and expect to see similar things bolted to Porsches soon) now have to resort to this sort of gimmickery to bring down the headline CO2 figure, no matter the insignificance back in the real world.

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Santorini Black

The whole taxation system based on theoretical manufacturer claimed CO2 emissions is completely pointless and misses the point. I'm sure this has been discussed to death on here before my time.

CO2 emissions vary depending on driving style. The only real way of fair taxation should be based on fuel usage as its a direct measure of CO2 produced. The more fuel you burn, the more CO2 you produce, simple.

Its difficult to implement because everyone has different circumstances and some have no other choice but to use a car whether its for business or general family requirements, so they see that would be unfairly taxed. TD4, HSE, Santorini Black, SS side protection tubes, clear side repeaters, chrome wing mirror covers
