I hear Volvo discs work too, there are instances on here where it took a long time before everything worked I think mine was about 30 minutes maybe try taking the disc out doing a hard reset on battery cables and try again. People say leave engine running to avoid power saving shutting down or go for a drive. |

I updated mine recently, inserted disc, drove home from work, that was an hour, and all I had was the screen turning on and off all the way. I thought the updated disc may well be faulty. Left everything as was and turned the car off when I got home locked the doors and didn't think about it until the morning. Got in the car and on the drive to work the screen turned on & off a few times then stopped and everything began to work as normal and my maps were updated.

Yeah, when I had mine and I bought an update disc off eBay, I thought I'd completely cocked my satnav up. Anyway, I'd resigned myself to having to get a new satnav and was kicking myself for buying a 'bargain' off eBay but after about 3 hours, all was fine. Hang in there! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

When I had my X-type Jag I updated to the 2012 and as said earlier it took forever and I must admit that the update was not worth the wait.....
