Having opted out of my company car scheme I have just purchased a 2013 GS model in baltic blue. It does have the sunroof option which is good. Only one owner after being used as a demonstrator.

Interestingly the dealer said there was no service history, however a quick call to LR UK gave me the name of the supplying dealer and they confirmed that it has a full main dealer history so it made the purchase worthwhile.

Just had the rear brake pads renewed by Land Rover Services in Hull who proved a great find.

Your car originally came with a service book, strange its not now with it and stamped up then. If LR say its a A OK maybe you can get a copy book sorted. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

The book was missing, presumably with the previous owner for some reason. Once I sent my receipt for the car and a copy of the V5 the dealers, Marshalls of Peterborough emailed me a full print out of the service history which included warranty items as well. They are selling me a replacement service book that they are going to stamp as well.

Must say although main dealers get a lot of flak the service guy at Marshalls was really helpful and patient as I tried to track down the service records. 2013 GS Baltic Blue - part exchanged now for Volvo V40

Mrs rpaterson has just stick a deposit down on a automatic I6 so I'll be busy around here browsing through the various tips and modifications threads. This'll be our first Land Rover but we've previously had a RAV4 and have just came from a 2WD Sportage.

Not interested in any off roading, just getting this style of car for accessibility reasons. Looking forward to my first 'proper' post...
