England 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

A bit off topic (but this is the off topic forum). Yonks ago I was behind a small van and a sign on the back said "The driver of this van is a blind man". I wondered how a blind man managed to drive (this was long before self driving cars) until the van pulled in and parked and on the side it said "Venetian blinds, Roller blinds, Louvre blinds".

Best ''bumper sticker'' ive seen was a learner school car with ''please don't smash my back door in'' written across the boot.

I have no idea what it meant but I was told it was funny Whistle

A friend of my mothers has T8 on a little Alfa hatchback, her father used to have T6 and T7 as well, must be worth a fortune. She said that car park ANPR cameras don't recognise it as a valid plate and she always has to go the booth, might well be the same with digital speed cameras, be worth having.

United Kingdom

My mates son returned from a years stint as part of his university engineering course working for Apple in California earlier this year. He shipped his Camero back to the UK complete with his California registration plate. You can choose your own registration out there as long as no-one else has it and it costs a paltry $25.

Here it is being picked up at the docks over here. He couldn't get the word 'Diamond' on the plate as it was too long so he settled for the symbol next to the plate!

My mate is currently in the process of getting it registered in the U.K. so that his son can use it in his final year at Loughborough then he's going to sell it to pay off his student debts. No import fees for bringing your personal car from the USA unless you sell it before you have owned it in this country for 12 months. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

He actuallyonce owned the similar PEN 15, when it was sold to a reg company it was offered at all sorts or silly prices and I think they still own it.
