Anyone any ideas? Would a prop bearing be constant ? |

This how I would see it , surely all of the suggested parts would do it at any rev range, I've had a look at the engine mntgs and exhaust mntgs and all seems well no obvious signs of bushes worn or perished how common is the top engine mount apparently filled with oil ?? |

You are not the only one that have vibrations in this RPM area, some do it and some not, did not saw so far any real solution.

has this vibration just begun or was it always like this? Agree that there is some vibration in this rev range depending on load etc. As a biggish 4 pot diesel it isn't the smoothest engine & I have wondered if it could also be the dmf not damping the firing impulses as well as it might. |

Spoke to a friend at land rover apparently the main I think 6or 8 bolts that hold the front cradle to the body can work loose quite a common problem by rights or the captive nuts inside the body welds break which cause this vibration at certain rev ranges I hit the what can only be described as a subframe brace from underneath before I found this out and it sounds just like the noise I get with the vibration I'll be under the car tomorrow to check the bolts fingers crossed |

I've used premium diesel and got no difference and the noise has been going for about 4-6 months just not got round to looking at it |

Did work for me for some extent, it doesn't solve the issue but seems to change the frequency, before my wife felt the seat vibrating (maybe a good thing |

We had something like this and it turned out to be a front drive shaft. The inner rubber boot didn't have a securing clip on it (only a cable tie!) which had allowed water to get in and ruin the joint. The only way to test was to raise each wheel and see if there was any play in the CV joints, if you did it with the wheel on the ground then you couldn't feel the play.
