Having read a lot of the threads I am little concerned if I will be welcome to this event. I do have a Black Freelander but I don't have clear repeaters

Do I need to get some fitted before I come along?

you would use a tow bar to recover a stuck car

You would use the tow eye, although i don't think this is even classed as a official recovery report either

I'd not use the tow eye for anything, tow bar or nothing. Unless of course the tow eye is reinforced I've not checked. At work

Fasten a chain from your towbar around a tree and back onto your tow eye, drive off and see which one breaks first  At work

We have created a sign-up for this event, to be held on Sunday January 18th 2009 on the DISCO3.CO.UK forum http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic26930.html

For those that are interested in attending I would ask that you pop onto the Disco3 forum and signup over there.

This way we can ensure that any questions about this event are all in one location and answered as quickly as possible. Also having just a single signup makes the management of the places easier for us.
