I sent him a message a couple of weeks ago, his view was that if there was enough interest, he could do the rock sliders (replace the plastic sills across the bottom car) and his own version of the sump guard (D3 one looks really good), the problem is the time, and cost of materials in developing them, as it would take a few prototypes to get them to fit right. I'm sure if enough people wanted rock sliders, and were willing to put their money where their mouths are, he'd give it a go. Rich |

I would be interested, depending on price. Is it worth setting up a new thread to canvass opinion? |

CY - you used to be able to fit BFG MTR's to the F1, a friend of mine in Edinburgh used to offroad an Frelly1 V6 shod with them. The V6 Freely 1 had the disadvantage over the others in the range that it had 1" less ground clearance too so fitting the BFG's brought it up to the same ground clearance as the others. He also ran with the Mantec underside protection and the Mantec rear front and rear recovery points fitted. Since doing quite a lot of damage to the underneath of the F1 (even with the bash plates - which didn't protect the IRD/VC!) - he now runs a Defender90 for offroading. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
