If it is adhesive, lighter fuel works well.

Try cutting a piece of citrus fruit in half and rub the stain with the cut fruit and wipe off - it's great for all sorts of stubborn stains

I had exactly that problem. Nothing I tried would fix it. I think it's probably down to some of the noxious substances used by some car wash enterprises. I had to change the grille. |
