very odd, if they wanted the lense or even the bulb then all they had to do was unplug the unit Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

Hi Tony, I guess your side repeater was a 'clear lens'; earlier cars had an 'amber' lens.

If you did dream it we are sharing the same dream, something along the lines of shorting out the side lights, clout the bumper into thinking it had been involved in an accident, this would then pop the door locks iirc. |

You are both right, it was how they used to get into Vauxhall Cavalier Mk3's. These were the first Vauxhalls fitted with deadlocks, and I can remember vividly in the early 90's when my dad was locked out of his CDi on a Petrol Station forecourt ....the RAC guy did exactly that and hey presto - all locks opened Foraging near Gaydon....

When our County 90 was stolen, the only thing left was a front indicator lens and the two screws that had been holding it. The Scenes of Crime bloke who came around was not one bit surprised to see it 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
