Just a quick howdy to all from a Sunny South Africa. Saw the new FL2 recenly, and must admit it was much more than I thought it would be. Do have some questions though that I will be posting soon

United States 2007 LR2 i6 SE Auto Baltic Blue
New LR2 in California

Hello,
It appears the FR2 and LR2 are nearly identical but I'm wondering how much so. Realising that California is admittedly the environment for off-road hopefuls, I do make trips across the desert to Phoenix and, as this is my first Landy, I expect I’ll find myself stuck in the sand long before many of you read this. Can’t wait. When I work in DC, I expect to take proper advantage of its features. Now if I could just figure a way to get my motorbike inside. The towing kit appears to be not yet available. Michael

Hello Everyone,
After almost any year of researching and waiting for the LR2 i found out recently two important things:
1- This Great, infomative, nicely layed out and valubale forum.
2- The LR2 will be launched in the middle east in May 2007.

I personally can't wait to test drive ,then buy, Then take the LR2 on a Sand Surfing test (Local Desert sport) Cool
I hope that everyone will accept me as new and useful member here.
Please conact me for any local insights or info that i might help in. Smile

I Thank you Martin, and I thank all the members for a great forum.

Welcome aboard Elaine....even if you are car less until Sept...just in time for the Scottish weather. Don't be put off by some of our adverse comments, the cars are great honestly, even the issues I have had I still think they are fanatastic all-round vehicles....which you have probably established anyway reading all of our threads from Scottie to defkalion (in Greece) and Cidor (in Russia!!!!!)

Cidor it's because you get them in 2-3 months that we have to wait until the export orders are shipped! I wanted to order a TDv8 RRS in April and was told the earliest I could expect delivery would be December................... demand for most LR products is really high at the moment, especially overseas so we have to wait! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
