Breakfast thread

It's very rare that I have a fry-up these days, normally its cereal, yoghurt, smoked mackerel, scrambled eggs on toast, poached smoked haddock and poached eggs (NOT all at the same time lol) etc etc but last night after tea I had some mash and vegetables left over so I thought I'd bubble it up this morning. Admittedly, the plate is short of mushrooms, black pudding, tomatoes and sausage, but it made a pleasant change.

Usually have a bit of a pig out on Friday night so something light on Saturday mornings, two cups of tea, two rounds of toast, non-salted butter, home made jam from home grown soft fruit. Delish!

I took my geologist son up to Heathrow this week on his way to Chile in South America and on the way he asked if we could stop at a shop. He came out with four large tins of baked beans, it seems they were for a colleague out there who was desperate for some. I asked how he would explain that away at airport security as large quantities of beans could be considered explosive in the wrong hands. Shocked 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Beanz means Fartz explosive? Rolling with laughter

Intense resulting methane could cause a cabin depressuration I suppose.

oddly I cant take to cooked breakfast in a house no matter who cooked it but put me in a hotel breakfast room and I devour the lot.

last big fry up brekkie was a cafe in Bridlington, not appetising but it was the start of a stag weekend and common sense told me to eat as much beer absorbing stuff as possible. i managed to keep it in during the following sea-fishing expedition At work

Saturday and Sunday mornings is usually always several slices of our own dry cured bacon between two slices and brown toast and 2 cups of tea followed by a coffee from the tassimo!

Rubbish! I'm on borrowed time by that logic

I had haggis slice, black pudding slice, link sausage, tatti scone, beans, bacon and toast, washed down with a mug of coffee.

My normal breakfast when I'm working is either bowl of cereal, Greek yogurt or slice of toast with peanut butter and mug of coffee. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
