what are the options for audio connectivity on the Premium sound system fitted to 2010MY ?

Obviously I know I have the 3.5mm aux socket in the centre console, but as expected this is a poor connection exactly the same as my previous 2 FL2. (almost like the socket is 3.6mm)

Im looking for a possible lead that plugs into the back of the head unit and feeds to the glove box or similar, that isn't exclusive to Apple connectors.

any ideas/suggestions ?

Rog, I'm pretty sure if you look in Topix under "connectivity" there's kits for your model.
Don't you have Bluetooth?

got Bluetooth but only for hands free phone. its the Alpine head unit rather than Meridian like you posh with newer cars

im thinking options forstreaming music from my Samsung phone (spotify etc)

looks pretty good, just need to have a look at the back of my head unit to see what connections are there and weigh up the options.

ive been playing around with the sound settings and it just keeps getting better and better. The premium really does do what it says on the tin

Let me know what you go for RogB as I have the same setup as you (I think) on my 2009 - it's the Alpine unit, Bluetooth phone connectivity and with SatNav. Would love to do away with the 3.5mm jack connection and want to stream from my LG phone
