MY2013 Switched and Permanent Live Fuse Positions

On a model year 2013 (HSE Lux), can anyone tell me the best (passenger footwell fuse box) fuse positions to use so that I can pick up an ignition switched live and a permanent live? A forum search throws up lots of results, but mostly seem to relate to pre facelift Freelanders and don't correlate to the MY2013 fuse functions.

TIA

Simon

F1 & F21 both sound like fairly critical systems, and although my connection will be through a secondary fuse, is this wise? I was hoping to perhaps make use of some of the unused fuse positions.

I went through the wiring diagrams on Topix and checked with a multimeter - failing that skip topix and have a poke in the fuse free slots! -

Well I ended up using F52 for my switched live. This is the front cigar lighter fuse, and as I am using a charging device similar to that which you would plug into the 12v socket, I went for this one using an 'add a circuit'. If it somehow manages to take the circuit out or get pulled out, nothing major will be affected.

This is the device I wired in.

This fitted in up behind the glove box. I have my usb cable plugged into this, running behind the dash to the drivers side, then routed up the door pillar trim to my phone mount next to the steering wheel (RHS). A nice neat job with minimal cable showing, and a permanent charging lead always at hand.

Whilst I had the fuse box accessible I also found a couple of unused fuse positions that appeared to be permanent live, F64 & F68, so I might use one of those when I come to do my dash cam and Power Magic.

It depends what you need - in the past on my MY13 I have used F18 with a piggy back fuse connector - It is permanently live And unused
