EH52-10E889-AF is not in my record but I would guess whatever the supercession is in Microcat to LR057333 will be it.

This screen does not appear to have a Jag equivalent, which surprises me since I thought it was shared with the XF. BUT the -AE version is apparently used in the Disco? So maybe the RRS too?

I'm pretty confident it is as LR put out a bulletin about MY15 having latest TFT touch screen fitted.
So this is good as it explains the part number change is not HiLine/Premium related rather screen

Tracking is telling me that Meridian Speakers will be here End Of Day Thursday so getting excited.
I'll update correct part numbers on Friday as mwah stuffed up previously and also now has a set of Alpine ones - DOH!
Plan is to dismantle rear cargo interior moundings, install speakers and AMP and then Edit
CCF so hopefully Sunday have a result. Weather is also been kind enough to put on some mild weather 30's both days so won't be cooking whilst doing this  MY15

As you can see I now have the correct speakers to complete this upgrade. As I have both might as well show you the difference. Meridian on the left and Alpine on the right.

Outwardly the rears look the same apart from the later/Meridian cover is Ivory which was a production change on MY13 onwards, I'm guessing. Again the speakers are completely different between Meridian/Alpine. The Meridian is 2 speakers, mid-range and tweeter.

It's 40 degrees outside atm so I may install the centre speaker but will have to wait until it cools down to do any further work.
Whatever happens I will have a conclusion by the weekend.
But were 99.9% sure it's a no brainier now, especially after looking at the hardware and software, it all checks out. MY15

Yes, it's definately 2 speakers.
The front centre and two rear surrounds are identical speakers.
If your meaning "these" they soon will be thanks to you! Cambo!!



Rear door "plates" are already on.
I'll need to trim off pins as they will not fit through the surround speaker grill. They have double sided tape on the back so that should be enough to hold them on. Havn't really had a close look at yet.

There is actually a separate field for the centre speaker in the vehicles CCF to activate.
This is one of two fields which needs changing to enable the Premium System.
Too hot here, even with house ducted a/c into where the car is it's still 35, I'm retreating to the main part of the warehouse.

Ok, so here in Perth, Western Australia we got to 44.2 maximum today and it's still 35 degrees at 7.50pm tonight. 41 at 2pm in the underground car park at my gym when I was leaving so I'm pretty sure that's when it was 44
Degrees.


So the only time to get the surround speakers in was dusk. Had to use mobile phone flashlight (cue LRNUT) which was not ideal but got it done in the end. Easy installation, just AMP and programing next so Saturday evening I will have Premium Sound I hope

I'm liking this a lot and it will be interesting to see what difference in the sound you get. I have the original Alpine system which is great for me, although I am not sure if I have found all of the speakers as I can only find 12, I thought there was more than that?

In reality the Hi-Line System is damn good so I'm not expecting a huge difference other than more functionality with the touchscreen options.
This really has been an exercise in familiarising myself with the vehicles systems which it has! I now have a thorough knowledge of the systems and what is possible and still learning/exploring. Once this project is completed there's plenty of other options/possibilities to explore around the FL2's technology. I'm hoping to tackle some harder projects like the "extra features "Soft key" once my level of competence is better with diagnostics/CCF editing.
The other reason was I didn't have the opportunity to order the Premium Option as the vehicle I bought was already on water. In hindsight I'm glad as I would have never had the opportunity to explore the technology and have the pleasure to meet people via the Forum whom have helped me beyond all expectations. It's a testimony to everyone on this forum and I thank them unconditionally. And best of all - it's been fun!!!!

Speaker wise the Alpine and Meridian systems have the same physical speaker locations but the Meridian utilises twin speakers in the surround speaker/centre dash speaker. MY15
