I had a look this morning and the rear squirter is OK but nothing from the front, not even pump noise. As its technically illegal to drive without working windscreen washers I have called out LR Assist. They offered to come this evening but I declined as it would be dark so they are coming in the morning - should be interesting. I will get him to have a look at a few other problems whilst here. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

No problem, the LR Assist guy had a look and said yes you need a new stalk it will have to go to the dealers, asked me where I wanted it done and said can you take it in tomorrow? I could so about an hour later (this is Sunday morning) someone called to say that there would be a hire car at the dealers by 1130 the next morning and asked for driver licence and NI numbers for insurance . I had another call the next morning confirming everything and when I got to the dealers there was an HSE DS waiting for me. That was on the Monday and I picked the car up on Wednesday morning. Total bill came to about £160 and I wasn't asked for anything and I asked them to check out a couple of minor issues whilst it was in.

Thanks for the update Dorset. Working fine again on drive home last night and again to work this morning. By that I mean no worse than usual with auto wipe. Always wants to be on constant wipe in light drizzle and then when it comes on heavy it likes to leave it for 10secs till you can't see out and have to manual over ride |
